Senior Network Specialist
Responsibilities :
The Senior Network Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure. This role ensures network security, performance, and reliability while supporting business operations and IT initiatives
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
- Manage network hardware such as routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support applications, cloud services, and remote access.
- Perform network capacity planning and upgrades.
- Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior network staff
- Delivering resolutions within SLA.
- Handling Incidence, troubleshoot and resolve complex real-time issues.
- Interaction with client technology team / ISPs / Vendors / Service partners during incidence, new implementations etc.
- Following ITIL practices, Ensuring Compliance adherence.
- Creating and updating Procedure documents, creating knowledge bases.
- Initiator / self-starter, Result-oriented, flexible, complex problem-solving skills,
- Work in team.
Technical skills
Aruba / Cisco / Dell L2 Switches, L3 Switches, Router, IP addressing / Subnetting, VLAN, SDWAN. Routing OSPF, RIPv2, BGP, WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, IPSec VPN), Wireless Controllers, Wireless APs.Hands-on experience with network security protocols and tools.Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.CCNP certification is a must and ARUBA / CCIE is desired.Years Of Experience : 7 to 10+ years#J-18808-Ljbffr
