  • Management and supervision, and preferably with training on the following:

·Knowledge management (KM), KM mechanisms, knowledge products and services (KPS), facilitation, learning materials development.

Experience

:

At least four (4) years’ experience in managing or supervising an organizational unit, team, or program/project engaged in development work, preferably in government setting.

  • In position/s involving the development of knowledge products and services, KM policies and guidelines; establishment of KM systems, management of Communities of Practice, learning facilities, KM portal, and other KM mechanisms.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the general supervision of BD/ABD and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, serves as head of a Division in SWIDB engaged in varied work from administration/management of the Division to technical work pertaining to KM mechanisms, learning systems, knowledge sharing and collaboration, office and staff management, relationship management, good practice documentation and organizational development.

2. Consolidated Bureau/Division’s Quarterly and Annual Accomplishment Report;

3. Division’s Office Performance Contract and Rating;

4. Proposals and recommendations on plans, policies, business process, and programs relative to the Department’s organizational outcomes, Bureau/Division’s mandate and key result areas (KRAs);

5. Monitoring and assessment of team and staff performance and their work outputs/deliverables (e.g. performance management, coaching and mentoring); and

6. Staff development interventions for their professional growth and competency development.

7. Copy of Special Order or Certification indicating the supervisory/management experience/functions signed by the HRMO or any authorized representative (for Division Chief positions onlyor as may applicable);

9. Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable.

(i) For those applicants from the public sector vying for promotion, a performance rating is required.
