Job description

Work Setup : Onsite (QC)

Certification :   CPC, COC, CCS-P and / or CCS

Educational Attainment :  Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (medical allied courses). Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities :

  • The Profee Coder ensures compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and documentation requirements while maximizing revenue and minimizing coding errors.
  • They work closely with healthcare providers, billing teams, and administrative staff to review medical documentation and assign appropriate codes.

Requirements :

  • 3 years of outpatient coding with 1 year experience in Surgery and / or Oncology Profee coding
