We’re looking for an Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with customers to design, implement, and optimize AI-powered automation workflows. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, customer success, and product — translating problems into working systems using tools like Make, Zapier, APIs, and AI agents.
This role is perfect for someone who loves building, problem-solving, and working closely with users. You’re hands-on, technical enough to debug issues, and comfortable owning projects from kickoff through deployment.

What You’ll Work On
Client Implementation and Deployment
Lead onboarding and technical setup for new customersTranslate client workflows into automation architectures using Make, Zapier, APIs, and AI toolsConfigure, test, and deploy integrations, voice agents, and automationsTroubleshoot errors and create clean, stable systems that scaleTechnical Problem Solving
Use APIs, webhooks, and structured data to connect platformsWork with engineering to debug deeper technical issuesRun tests, track logs, and improve system reliabilityBuild internal tools or templates that speed up future deploymentsCustomer Collaboration
Act as the primary technical partner for assigned customersMap business problems to automation opportunitiesTrain customers on new workflows and validate that solutions meet requirementsProvide clear documentation, walkthroughs, and support when neededProcess and Product Improvement
Identify recurring customer needs and recommend product enhancementsHelp build SOPs, runbooks, and implementation frameworksImprove the deployment pipeline to reduce friction and increase speedGather structured feedback and share insights with product and engineeringWho You Are
3 to 5+ years in a technical role such as implementation, solutions engineering, automation, or customer success engineeringExperienced with Make.com , Zapier, or other workflow automation platformsComfortable working with APIs, JSON, webhooks, and system integrationsFamiliar with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or voice agentsStrong communicator who can explain technical concepts clearlyHighly organized and able to manage multiple deployments at onceResourceful, proactive, and confident in environments with little hand-holdingNice to Have
