The Offshore HSE Engineer plays a critical role in promoting health, safety, and environmental standards within offshore operations in Saudi Arabia. This position demands a proactive approach to identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a culture of safety among all personnel.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures tailored specifically for offshore operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead HSE training sessions to educate offshore crew on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
- Assess risks associated with offshore activities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into operational planning.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Act as a liaison between the offshore site and management regarding safety issues and improvements.

Qualifications & Experience :
Basic Qualification :Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related field.Advanced Qualification :NEBOSH International General Certificate or similar HSE certification.Minimum Experience :
At least 7 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a focus on offshore operations.Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to the oil and gas industry.Proven track record in conducting safety audits, training, and incident investigations.Ability to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English.Benefits
