The primary purpose of a Head of Project Management Office (PMO) is to lead and oversee all Project Managers in managing FWD strategic initiatives. He/She makes sure that all projects are aligned with FWD’s yearly business plans and executed efficiently. He/She monitor and report the performance of projects & portfolios, ensuring to meet their goals. Enforce FWD’s project management framework and use best practices.

Integrates Project Initiatives and FWD Strategic Plans

Assigns Project Managers to various Strategic projects and ensuring alignment with FWD’s Project Management governance framework

Analyzes portfolio updates and prepares the necessary reports for portfolio monitoring and stakeholder communication

Manage project repositories and other non-project related folders or sites and provides user access for such sites

Monitors team and project budgets and expenditures and analyses variances to achieve financial metrics

Helps identify issues/risks like resource constraints, project delays and recommends solutions to the concerned project managers

Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or in lieu 10+ more years of relevant experience
PMP, Agile Scrum/PSM certifications are most welcome
Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing projects and/or information technology business
Experience with program/projects in multiple technologies, functions and industries
Excellent executive presence and experience creating/delivering executive presentations in MS PowerPoint
Experience managing teams that are geographically distributed and culture
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Sound judgment and conflict resolution skills
