Position Overview RecruitGo is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee the Director Workflow Allocation for Correspondence Review, specifically managing the Division Director Review for ASIC and ATO correspondence. The Supervisor will also play a key role in ensuring the efficient completion of Accounting and Taxation tasks, including handling Information Requests. Additionally, the Supervisor will focus on enhancing interactions, fostering a high level of service, and upholding the Firm’s commitment to care. This includes using each interaction as an opportunity to identify needs and proactively deliver value-added solutions. Responsibilities : Achieving workflow priorities outlined during the weekly Division Workflow meetings. Communicate progress and address any issues related to client work completion. Prepared income tax returns for all entity types, including individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies. Preparing Business and Instalment Activity Statements, and overseeing the preparation of Business Activity Statements while investigating discrepancies. Preparing Fringe Benefits Tax Returns as required. Processing periodic data and preparing Financial Statements, including account reconciliations and supporting schedules. Assisting with the analysis of Financial Statements and reporting on variances. Handling Client Information Requests via email. Liaising with external bookkeepers to coordinate the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns. Managing the preparation of Client Work Engagement Control Register (ECR). Supporting the Senior Supervisor with Client WIP Billing Analysis, including drafting client invoices (bills). Assisting in the preparation of Firm Marketing Initiatives, such as news, articles of interest for clients, and content for the firm’s website. Requirements : Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field. Actively pursuing membership with CAANZ or CPA. 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting. Ability to review and interpret tax legislation. Exposure to tax planning concepts, including Division 7A of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936. Basic understanding of trust rules in the Income Tax Assessment Acts 1936 & 1997. Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Broad understanding of accounting and tax issues. Proficient in gathering, organizing, and summarizing information efficiently. Able to meet deadlines and adhere to budget constraints. Commitment to delivering value-added client service and technical expertise, ensuring timely, high-quality professional services through a holistic, multidisciplinary approach. Demonstrates professionalism and fosters positive rapport with clients and team members. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Xero. Why RecruitGo?
