Summary

The Buying Administrator is responsible in Liaising with suppliers from multiple countries regarding the timely supply of accurate product information and imagery. The successful hire will prepare product information to submit new products to the website, including accurate descriptions, dimensions, features, pricing and image file labelling.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities of this role include :

  • Liaise with suppliers regarding the timely supply of accurate product information and imagery.
  • Arrange product photography (including bookings, samples, briefing) and manage through to final image approval.
  • Entry and updating of product data and regular product information audits
  • Prepare product information to submit new products to the website
  • Respond to escalated customer care enquiries promptly and liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and collect additional / updated product information when required
  • Identify recurring issues with products and recommend improvements to the buyers

You may also be called upon to :

  • Do Adhoc duties as requested by your manager
  • Some photo editing may be requested but training will be provided
  • Naturally, there’s the expectation that you’ll bring good humour and a strong sense of personal style!
  • Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance / Data Entry / Admin or any relevant experience
  • Experience in MS Excel is a requirement for the role
  • AU / US client background is more of a nice to have
  • Must have keen attention to details
  • Successful hire must be easy to get along with, has the willingness to work and is open to feedback
