About this Position
As a Prepress Expert in our Artwork Studio, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all print materials meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. You will play a crucial role in transforming design concepts into print-ready files while adhering strictly to brand guidelines and printer specifications. You'll be part of a collaborative team where open communication with designers, stakeholders, and team leads is key to achieving our project goals. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will contribute to onboarding new hires and driving process improvements, making your insights vital for the team's success. What you´ll do
- Create print-ready files by following printer specifications and brand guidelines to ensure high-quality outputs
- Utilize Esko plugins and software for efficient prepress processes, enhancing workflow efficiency and accuracy
- Perform color separation, retouching, and proofing while ensuring all artwork meets print feasibility and consistency standards
- Review and approve vendor print proofs, providing timely feedback to ensure alignment with project requirements and deadlines
- Oversee queue management, quality checks, and administrative duties to maintain seamless operations and adherence to SLAs
- Work closely with team leads, designers, and stakeholders to package and release files, ensuring all updates and concerns are communicated effectively
- Onboard new hires, provide training, and support process improvements while acting as the primary contact for prepress-related inquiries and documentation
What makes you a good fit
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts, Fine Arts, Graphic Design and Printing Technology or related courseMinimum of three (3) years' relevant work experience in Artwork & PrepressAdvanced knowledge in packaging, print preparation, prepress Image retouchingAdvanced technical skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop (for color retouching), Acrobat Pro; Esko Automation is highly preferredWith high level of accuracy and attention to detail and must have project management skills, stakeholder management skillsStrong communication skills - Fluent English (written / verbal interaction in an international environment)Amenable to work on a mid-shift schedule (3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 MN) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, MakatiSome perks of joining Henkel
