Your impact
- Support the team in producing and developing Autodesk Civil 3D models and generating 2D drawings from these models.
- Assist in training junior team members and ensure all drawings and models meet required quality, schedule, and budget standards.
- Follow company QA procedures and create models/drawings from engineers’ sketches, markups, or architectural backgrounds/concept schematics.
- Take responsibility for daily housekeeping of digital and hard copy project files to maintain organized storage.
- Report and provide advice on software issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all deliverables.
Here's what you'll need
- Experience in computer-aided drafting and modeling using Autodesk Civil 3D; familiarity with other software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Navisworks is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with resilience to handle critical feedback and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and patience when working on complex tasks and delivering high-quality outputs.
- Understanding of data transfer between key software packages; knowledge of manufacturing processes and construction methods is beneficial.
- Sound knowledge of engineering design principles and ability to apply them effectively in drafting and modeling tasks.
- Relevant educational background, such as a bachelor’s/college degree or equivalent diploma in drafting technology.
