The Chief FinancialOfficer (CFO) is a senior executive responsible for driving financial andoperational performance, enabling sustainable growth, and maximizingprofitability. The role oversees financial planning, reporting, controls, andrisk management, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Acting asa strategic partner to leadership, the CFO provides insights to guide criticalbusiness decisions and safeguard the organizations long-term stability.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Identify and evaluatecritical business issues, proposing strategies for growth throughexpansion, acquisitions, mergers, or capital investment.
- Partner with leadership andoperational teams to prioritize strategic projects and secure long-termfunding.
- Lead the development offinancial strategies that support business objectives and pursue newcommercial opportunities.
- Recommend operationalenhancements and improvements to strengthen financial sustainability.
- Oversee short- and long-termforecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation to optimize resourceutilization.
- Integrate financial planningprocesses across all business units, aligning revenue and expense goals.
- Ensure effective cash flowand liquidity management, maintaining strong financial health.
- Analyze performance trends,prepare reports, and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Establish and enforcefinancial controls to strengthen accountability and mitigate risks.
- Oversee compliance withaccounting standards and external audit requirements.
- Investigate variances,implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Liquidity & Investments
Manage working capital,accounts payable, and receivable to meet financial obligations.Drive investment strategiesto maximize returns while mitigating risks.Lead initiatives to optimizecapital structure, debt facilities, and banking relationships.Ensure timely and accuratepreparation of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets,and cash flow reports.Lead monthly, quarterly, andannual financial closing processes, maintaining transparency and accuracy.Deliver financial insightscomparing performance against forecasts and plans.Assess financial risks,implement mitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance acrossall business activities.Oversee contracts, capitalexpenditures, insurance, and other financial commitments to safeguardcompany interests.Ensure full compliance withapplicable taxation, governance, and legal requirements.Lead and develop finance,accounting, planning, and support teams.Promote a culture ofaccountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Partner cross-functionally toalign financial priorities with overall business strategy.Qualifications
Bachelors degree inAccountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.10-15 years of progressiveleadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role(CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent).Deep knowledge of financialreporting standards, internal controls, and risk management practices.Experience with enterprisefinancial systems and reporting tools (e.g.,SAP, ERP platforms).Proven track record instrategic planning, forecasting, investment management, and financialgovernance.Strong leadership skills withexperience managing diverse teams in a matrix or complex organizationalstructure.Background in high-growth,multinational, or large-scale businesses preferred.Experience in retail,consumer goods, or similar industries considered a strong advantage.WorkSetup : Shift : Day shift
