Summary

The client is the largest and most profitable business unit in the Group with revenues runrate revenues at S$100m and growing across three segments : Consumer Fixed, Non-Residential Fixed and Mobility. The Accountant should support the Accounting and Finance Manager and Senior Accountant in the monthly closing operations and ensure internal compliance for GL reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Month end Closing : ensure that all monthly required accounting entries are passed into the accounting system.
• Assist Accounting and Finance Manager in performing GL reconciliations for Balance Sheet Accounts on a timely basic
• Provide support to Finance Manager in areas of statutory compliance and internal / external reporting
• Support the Senior Accountant on completing the quarterly GST returns
• Implement improvements to the month end procedures and internal controls
• Assist the Finance and Accounting Manager on ad-hoc projects
