Position Summary The Senior Director of IT is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and management of the organization’s technology infrastructure and initiatives. This role ensures alignment of IT strategies with business goals, drives innovation through technology, manages cross-functional IT teams, and oversees IT governance, security, and operational excellence. The Senior Director of IT partners closely with executive leadership to enable digital transformation, improve system performance, and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions that support organizational growth and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day IT operations, including network and server infrastructure, enterprise systems, and end-user support services.
- Manages IT infrastructure, networks, system servers, cloud services, and enterprise applications ensuring high availability, reliability and performance.
- Ensures effective disaster recovery, data backup, and business continuity plans.
- Develops and implements the organization’s IT strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation, cost optimization, and process automation.
- Provides expert advice to executive leadership on emerging technologies, digital trends, and cybersecurity risks.
- Develops and enforces IT security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Protects the organization from cyber threats through proactive risk management and security measures.
- Ensures compliance with local and international data privacy, cybersecurity, and IT governance regulations.
- Leads, mentors, and builds a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Manages relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants.
- Develops and manages the department's budget, tracks expenditures, and makes data-driven decisions on technology investments.
- Partners with business units to understand technology requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Drives digital transformation projects, cloud migration, and process automation.
- Ensures user training, IT support services, and efficient helpdesk operations
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Required :Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
