Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, including preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and emergency treatments. The Dentist will also educate patients on oral health and hygiene, and work closely with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of care.
Education and Licensing
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Additional certifications (e.g., CPR, sedation, or advanced dental procedures) may be required based on the practice's needs.
Experience
Previous experience as a practicing dentist is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.Experience with a range of dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and preventive care.Skills and Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of dental treatments, including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canals, and extractions.Familiarity with dental technologies such as X-ray machines, digital records, and treatment planning software.Strong understanding of patient care and oral hygiene best practices.Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain procedures and treatment options to patients.Ability to create a comfortable and trusting environment for patients.Attention to Detail
Strong attention to detail in diagnosing dental issues and performing procedures accurately.Ability to keep accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of treatments.Patient Care
