Job descriptionMedical Degree (MD or DO) : Completion of medical school and dermatology residency program. Licensure : Must pass board exams and maintain state licensure to practice medicine. Communication Skills : Strong ability to interact with patients, provide clear explanations, and listen to concerns. Attention to Detail : Ability to identify subtle skin conditions and assess changes in skin health.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections.
- Treat skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.
- Perform minor surgical procedures like mole removals and biopsy procedures.
- Prescribe treatments like topical medications, oral medications, or light therapy.
