Teacher's Assistant

Good Tree International School, a Christian educational institution dedicated to nurturing our students' IQ (Intelligence Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), and LQ (Love Quotient), is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and proactive Teacher's Assistant for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.

Requirements:

• Holder of any 4-year college degree, with a Bachelor of Science in Education being a plus

• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19

• A determined individual, willing to strive for the best outcomes for our students and team

• A natural encourager who recognizes and fosters the potential within all students

• A life-long learner, constantly striving to improve and eager for feedback

• Excellent proactive communication skills

• Tech-savvy, comfortable with using a range of software and technology in education

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance and supervision of a teacher, the successful candidate will:

• Assist in the preparation of yearly instructional outlines and daily lesson plans

• Support teaching by implementing appropriate instructional methods

• Assist in the continuous evaluation of student's academic progress using a range of evaluative tools

• Help in creating a positive, encouraging learning environment for students

• Assist in maintaining control of the class and handling discipline issues

• Serve as a substitute teacher or a tutorial teacher when needed

• Provide support in office or faculty tasks as required
