Overview
A strategic and results-oriented Senior Product Manager responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and market leadership of assigned food categories. This role combines both brand management and product development functions—overseeing everything from product innovation and marketing strategy to manufacturing coordination and commercial performance. Works closely with R&D, supply chain, sales, and marketing teams to deliver consumer-relevant, cost-efficient, and profitable products in a highly competitive market.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand and product strategies that drive category growth and align with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end product management—from concept development, consumer testing, pricing, and packaging, to launch and post-launch evaluation.
- Partner with R&D and production in developing new food products and improving existing formulations to ensure quality, taste, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify innovation and expansion opportunities.
- Manage brand communication and marketing programs, ensuring consistent brand identity across all channels (ATL, BTL, digital, and in-store).
- Collaborate with sales and trade marketing to design and execute promotions, pricing programs, and merchandising initiatives.
- Track product performance, P&L, and ROI, and recommend adjustments to achieve targets for volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Oversee SKU portfolio management, including rationalization and new variant development.
- Monitor consumer feedback and insights to guide innovation and continuous product improvement.
- Supervise and mentor junior product or brand associates to strengthen team capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology, or related field; MBA is an advantage.At least 7–10 years of experience in product or brand management within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.Proven track record in managing multiple brands or product lines and successfully launching new products.Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes, supply chain coordination, and P&L management.Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills.Creative mindset with strong business acumen and a consumer-centric approach.Highly collaborative and effective in cross-functional team environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
