Expert, Product Consulting

Acts as the referent in his / her area of expertise in providing functional and technical expertise to support complex, cross-area implementations and / or customer requests and ensure knowledge sharing.

Common accountabilities :

Is recognized as the reference in his / her area of expertise. Highly specialized knowledge to plan, coordinate and implement solutions in the area.
Shares his / her knowledge through specialized training sessions, provides guidance to decision-makers and makes recommendations on the strategic orientation and evolution of his / her area of expertise.
Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions

Specific accountabilities :

Technical excellence & business acumen : Make recommendations to pre-sales functional consultancy to advise customers on appropriate products and solutions utilizationEnsure regular technological watch (keeping up to date latest evolution)Present innovation conceptsConnect with stakeholders to anticipate the needs and the impacts of proposed changes, both on the system and on the business

Championing expertise : Ensure continuous knowledge sharing internally (ex. newcomer induction, training etc...) & externally (ex. IATA meetings, conferences, forums etc...)Proactively identify new solutions and opportunities in Amadeus’ service offerings related to the area of expertiseEnsure innovation and product evolution within their functional area by sharing information such as industry trends & standards, competition etc.Involves in the expert community
