Function

The purpose of the position is to assist the Operations Team in all areas of administrative support with a focus on reporting, data entry, data remediation and document uplifts

Principal Accountabilities

The Operations Support Officer will focus on four key areas, being reporting data, remediation work, accreditations, and business documents uplift (registers, policies, procedures).

The role will be responsible and accountable for items including; but not limited to; the following :

  • Reporting, including end of month commission report
  • Credit, settlements & accreditation data remediation
  • Treasury data remediation
  • Supplier, dealer & broker accreditation
  • Assisting in policy & process guide development and uplift
  • Register maintenance
  • Identify opportunities for automation / digitalization
  • Provide Operational Support for ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
  • Knowledge

    Preferred :

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of lending practices, processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the non-banking and asset finance sectors.
  • Experience

    Required :

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of lending practices, processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the non-banking and asset finance sectors.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience producing and issuing finance related reports
  • Attributes

  • Strong communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organized, task driven to ensure events not missed.
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Basic knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
  • Strong business acumen
