ACCOUNTING HEAD

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including AP / AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliation

Oversee landed cost computation , inventory costing, and cost-of-goods analysis

Supervise tax filing, BIR compliance, and external audits

Ensure accuracy in importation-related financial records (freight, duties, VAT, etc.)

Review and prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis

Monitor customer collections and supplier payments

Implement strong internal controls and ensure process compliance

Coordinate with logistics, sales, and purchasing teams on costing and finance matters

Lead and develop the accounting team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field

At least 3 years of relevant experience , preferably in importation, trading, or wholesale

knowledge of costing, tax compliance, and inventory management

Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
