SENIOR GENERAL ACCOUNTANT
LEVEL : REPORT TO :
SUPERVISORY
FINANCE MANAGER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Compile and evaluate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis,
ensuring alignment with established accounting standards.
2. Oversee general ledger operations, including posting journal entries, reconciling
accounts, and making necessary adjustments.
3. Lead the preparation and timely filing of BIR returns and other statutory financial reports
required by government agencies.
4. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure full compliance with audit
protocols and documentation.
5. Maintain precise and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including assets,
liabilities, revenues, and expenditures.
6. Contribute to the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support
organizational goals.
7. Assess and confirm the accuracy of raw material costing and pricing for both commercial
trade and internal production use.
8. Manage inventory accounting processes and collaborate with procurement,
warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure accurate reporting.
9. Uphold adherence to internal control systems, accounting policies, and relevant tax laws
and regulations.
10. Deliver strategic financial analysis and recommendations to aid in executive decision
making.
11. Guide and support junior accounting staff, fostering skill development and process
improvements.
12. Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by senior management.
13. Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements based on data analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Graduate of BS Accountancy or any related accounting course.
2. With at least 5-year(s) work experience in General Accounting.
3. Exposure to accounting software is required.
4. Exposure to food manufacturing is preferred.
5. Excellent in oral and written communication skills.
