Position Overview :
Smart Nora is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior iOS Developer to join our mobile app team. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our current iOS app by developing advanced data features, integrating measurable metrics, and improving customer communication through notifications. This role will directly support our mission to empower users in their sleep health journey by providing intuitive and insightful app experiences.
As a Senior iOS Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data engineers, and customer experience specialists, to lead the implementation of a variety of new features. If you are passionate about mobile health and wellness applications and are skilled in creating robust, scalable, and secure mobile applications, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities :
Feature Development and Enhancement
- Lead the redesign and implementation of enhanced access to customer data and metrics, including app retention rates, sleep patterns, snore frequency, and quality improvement trends.
- Implement complex data handling for user stats and insights (e.g., average consecutive usage nights, sleep duration, snore intensity).
- Create user-friendly data display screens, focusing on clarity and ease of access for Smart Nora’s customer support and case management teams.
Push Notification System
Design and integrate a customized push notification system to drive user engagement and promote app usage.Implement logic for personalized reminders and notifications, drawing on metrics such as snore reduction progress or usage frequency.Collaborate with the Customer Experience (CX) team to integrate manual push notification management, setting up a scalable framework for future automation.Zoho Chat and Support Integration
Enhance the in-app Zoho Chat integration for seamless transitions between app interactions and live support, reducing friction for users seeking real-time assistance.Work with backend developers and CX agents to ensure context-rich chat support based on user behavior and usage data.Onboarding and User Education
Develop a series of onboarding screens and interactive tutorials to guide new users through the app’s main features, such as snore tracking, notifications, and data security.Focus on an intuitive, informative, and non-intrusive onboarding experience that enhances user engagement from the start.Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with product managers and data teams to align on feature goals, metrics, and app performance benchmarks.Participate in sprint planning and reviews, providing input to shape future feature rollouts and prioritizing tasks according to the sprint goals.Ensure high standards of quality through code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization.Requirements
Experience : 5+ years of professional iOS development experience, with a proven track record of
delivering and maintaining high-quality mobile applications in the health, wellness, or related fields.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK , with hands-on experience in creating feature-rich, responsive, and visually appealing iOS applications.Strong understanding of CoreData, RESTful APIs , and data storage methods for secure and efficient data handling.Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, and experience in integrating external hardware devices is preferred.Experience with push notification frameworks and custom notification systems.Analytical and Data Integration Skills :
Experience working with data-driven applications, ideally involving analytics dashboards and user data insights.Ability to design and implement features that handle sensitive user data securely, maintaining compliance with data privacy regulations.Familiarity with integrating third-party tools like Zoho Chat or similar customer service integrations is a plus.Soft Skills :
Strong collaborative skills, with experience working in Agile development environments.Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions.Effective communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts clearly to
cross-functional teams.
Prefered Qualifications :
Experience with wellness or health app development.Knowledge of best practices in sleep tracking, snore monitoring, or biometric data handling.Familiarity with third-party analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Firebase).Benefits
