Job description

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AWS Solutions Architect to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture principles, with a proven ability to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • Cloud Architecture Design :  Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on AWS, aligning with business requirements and best practices.
  • Solution Implementation :  Implement and deploy cloud infrastructure and applications using AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and more.
  • Migration and Modernization :  Develop and execute cloud migration strategies for existing on-premises applications and infrastructure, modernizing them for optimal cloud performance.
  • Cost Optimization :  Implement cost-effective solutions by leveraging AWS cost management tools and best practices, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing unnecessary expenses.
  • Security Best Practices :  Ensure security is integrated into all cloud solutions by implementing security best practices, adhering to compliance standards, and utilizing AWS security services.
  • Technical Guidance :  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams and other stakeholders on AWS best practices, architecture patterns, and service usage.
  • Troubleshooting and Support :  Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and applications, providing timely support to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, deployments, and operational procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Continuous Learning :  Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Preferred :

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Level (Minimum) or Professional level (Preferred) certification.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI / CD pipelines, containerization).
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g., relational, NoSQL).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack).

    • Optional Requirement (Highly Desirable) :

  • Experience in architecture design and implementation for  Edge Computing on AWS . This includes understanding edge device management, data synchronization, and offline processing.
