Job Description
The Flight Operations Engineer shall serve as the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Administrator for the company Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) System. The EFBAdministrator shall :
a. Liaise with the Technical and Development team to establish clear and effective EFB procedures and guidelines for Flight Crew and Navigation Support personnel.
b. Recommend to the TDM to coordinate with the CPTS to develop training for Flight Crew to familiarize themselves with the overall process and use of the EFB system.
c. Collect, verify, and resolve technical issues / problems submitted by Flight Crewon the EFB system, and liaise with vendors / service providers when necessary.
d. Liaise with vendors / service providers regarding the monitoring and updating ofthe EFB system, software, and applications.
e. Liaise with vendors / service providers to ensure that the company EFB systemis compliant with State provisions / regulations, as well as the acquisition ofrelevant regulatory approvals.
f. Conduct other EFB / EFB system related duties as assigned by the TDM.
Other responsibilities of the Flight Operations Engineer :
a. Liaise with engineering team to provide various aircraft data and performanceanalysis as instructed by TDM.
b. Liaise with Dispatch and Technical Pilots in flight operations matters (NewRoute and Airfield Assessments, etc.).
c. Liaise with vendors, OEM, flight crew, and airport authorities to assist with theproduction / updating / assessment / validation of performance, navigation data,and aeronautical charts.
d. Liaise with Technical Pilots and Flight Technical Analyst regardingupdates / revisions of Operations Manuals.
e. Liaise with Technical Pilots and Technical Services Engineering teamregarding updates / revisions of sections of Engineering Manuals (MEL, MCM,etc.) relevant to Flight Operations.
f. Liaise with vendors / service providers, Technical Pilots, Technical ServicesEngineering, and other concerned company departments / divisions on theassessment, implementation, and management of new projects / procedures / systems relevant to Flight Operations, as well as acquisition of regulatory approvals when necessary.
g. Prepare notices, circulars and memos for publication as instructed andapproved by TDM.
h. Conduct other duties as assigned by TDM
