Junior Graphic Designer (AU Client)

Summary

To assist the The Build by the company’s creative team in creating the visual style of all consumer marketing materials across multiple digital touchpoints, creating website graphics and promotional campaign assets to surprise and delight our customers, clients and business partners in order to deliver rapid growth, a strong and defensible brand positioning, and achieve all of our commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Creation of all daily desktop, mobile web and app assets including promotional and editorial banners and graphics ensuring all final assets are correct to template.
• Creation of email marketing communications ensuring designs adhere to outlined style guide and assets are ready for web.
• Working through ad hoc design and image manipulation ticket requests from all across the business (product change tickets)
• Occasionally creating animated banners for Paid Social ad/Promotional Campaigns ensuring design adheres to campaign guidelines and assets are ready for web.
• Optimisation and editing of lifestyle imagery shot by in-house studio team
• Opportunity to assist SYD design team to concept and execute new promotional campaign creative ideas.
• Liaising with Creative, Campaigns and Marketing teams to ensure asset delivery milestones and deadlines are on or ahead of schedule and communicated across teams

We’d also love you to:

• Analyse briefs to make sure design and layout is optimised for biggest and best possible consumer impact.
• Keep informed of the latest digital image production process technology, trends and innovations
• Work closely with Sydney design team to coordinate digital asset creation, management, transfer, upload, and filing.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, both in Sydney and Manila as the team expands
• Execute retouching, resizing, colour correcting, cloning, and adjustments as needed to enhance photography using Photoshop
• Working within brand guidelines and editorial style guide.
• Competitive reviews and analysis
• Plus always looking for ways to innovate both in terms of visual execution and in efficiency of the production process.

Qualifications

• Min two years experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator.
• Min one years digital industry experience preferred (publishing/agency/retail).
• A keen eye with a passion for design in areas such as typography, cropping, colour, grid, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high sense of initiative, able to work well both in a team or independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to maintain impeccable file management protocol, always looking to propose and implement efficient and cost-effective procedures.
• Highly organised and process driven, with good problem solving skills both in design and production.
• Passion for innovation and ideas generation, the ability to both adhere to and evolve a brand.
• Work well under pressure within tight deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Positive attitude, high energy, proactive, hardworking, and goal oriented.
• Must be a team player, receptive to new ideas, and can easily adapt to change
