Job Description

Get to Know the Role

As Legal Counsel, Mobility, you will provide end-to-end legal support across transportation, logistics, and e‑commerce business lines, and any PEMEDES-related initiatives or public-sector engagements. You will manage and mitigate legal risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support commercial growth through pragmatic, business-centric legal advice. You will lead or support disputes and litigation, and handle any other legal matters assigned by the manager.

You will report to the General Counsel - Philippines and work onsite in the Grab Pasig City office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Commercial & Product Advisory

Advise on product launches, operations, and market entries across transportation (rides, delivery, fleet), logistics, and e‑commerce (marketplace, on‑demand services, vendor programs).

Monitor and ensure compliance with transportation / TNC regulations, vehicle and driver standards, licensing / permits, safety, and public-interest rules.

Coordinate with Public Affairs on regulatory engagement, consultations, and advocacy.

Manage and coordinate pre‑litigation disputes, litigation, and regulatory investigations; oversee outside counsel and budgets.

Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, SOPs, and policy frameworks.

Partner closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, Safety, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Procurement, Public Relations, and Public Affairs
