About the Job : The Head of Communications shall be responsible for developing key messages aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring these messages form the basis for storytelling in the Philippines.
Main Duties Developing team members' career paths and supporting their personal growth Representing the communications team in management discussions Managing and accounting for the communications team's budget allocation and spend Developing communication strategies and implementation plans for external and internal stakeholders Identifying and measuring success metrics for communication strategies Augmenting marketing strategies through organic media outreach Collaborating with other marketing departments to ensure consistent messaging across projects and campaigns Driving strategic partnerships with local government units, industry associations, and coalitions to refine local positioning Monitoring policy and regulatory developments and developing corresponding communication strategies Securing external speaking opportunities for senior management and leveraging these opportunities Preparing for and managing crisis communications when necessary Engaging with government, international organizations, academia, non-profits, and private sectors to promote the company's objectives Creating and publicizing content that articulates the company's policy positions in media, briefing papers, government consultations, and other platforms Qualifications Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, communications, business administration, or related fields with proven success At least 8 to 10 years of progressive PR experience in service or tech companies, with strong media contacts in business, tech, and lifestyle sectors Strong writing and oral communication skills Experience in event and project management Knowledge of influencer marketing, social media marketing, and stakeholder mapping Proven leadership skills Ability to craft effective messages across various platforms (press releases, speeches, social media, corporate communications) Excellent English and Filipino oral, written, and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Proficiency in Google Suite and enterprise software #J-18808-Ljbffr
