About This Role :

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer (Shopify-Focused) to help build, scale, and optimize a growing e-commerce platform. This role combines front-end and back-end development, focusing on creating seamless Shopify integrations and delivering dynamic, gamified shopping experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Shopify app development, ReactJS / RemixJS, NodeJS, and SQL, with a passion for building scalable, elegant systems that enhance online retail experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes to support sweepstakes and promotional mechanics.

Extend and improve Shopify Apps to support new features and dynamic logic.

Integrate with Shopify APIs to sync product data, customer actions, and entry logic.

Build reusable front-end components using ReactJS or RemixJS and scalable back-end systems using NodeJS.

Optimize for speed, scalability, and seamless UX across storefronts.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Shopify stores and internal systems.

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and marketing teams to bring gamification features to life.

Back-end : NodeJS, SQL

Version Control : Git, GitHub

Shopify Development : Shopify APIs, custom app development

Project Management : Jira, Shortcut (or similar)

APIs & Integrations : REST, GraphQL

Qualifications :

3-5 years of freelancing or professional development experience.

Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 / C2 level).

Proven Shopify development experience using Liquid, ReactJS / RemixJS, NodeJS, and SQL.

Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, app architecture, and integration workflows.

Familiarity with Git-based development workflows.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable in a startup environment.

Nice-to-Have :

Experience building SaaS products or custom apps within the Shopify ecosystem.

Knowledge of sweepstakes, gamification, or loyalty program mechanics.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar).

Familiarity with modern CI / CD workflows.

Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM US Mountain Time
