Wet Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop wet utility systems, including water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management designs.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and capacity.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of wet utility designs with overall project plans.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to wet utility systems.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in wet utility design technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in wet utility design engineering.
• Proficient in hydraulic modeling software and other relevant design tools.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and standards governing wet utility design.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• Professional Engineering license (PE) is a plus but not mandatory.
