Responsibilities
- Design and develop wet utility systems, including water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management designs.
- Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize system performance and capacity.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of wet utility designs with overall project plans.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to wet utility systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in wet utility design technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in wet utility design engineering.Proficient in hydraulic modeling software and other relevant design tools.Strong knowledge of regulations and standards governing wet utility design.Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in teams.Professional Engineering license (PE) is a plus but not mandatory.
