Job Summary
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's financial budgeting process. This role plays a critical part in developing, implementing, and monitoring budgeting systems to ensure effective financial planning and control. The FP&A Manager supports sound financial decision-making by providing accurate and timely budgetary information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Budget Development
Duties :
Collaborate with department managers and executives to gather relevant financial data and insights.
Analyze historical financial data, market trends, and business projections to establish realistic budget targets.
Prepare and present budget proposals aligned with organizational goals, strategies, and financial constraints.
Ensure budgetary goals align with organizational objectives and financial policies.
Standard :
Financial data and insights are accurate and easy to interpret.
2. Budget Implementation
Duties :
Develop guidelines, policies, and procedures for budget implementation, including timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
Coordinate with departments to collect and consolidate budget inputs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Review and validate budget requests for compliance with guidelines and financial regulations.
Assist in resource allocation and recommend adjustments or reallocations as needed.
Standard :
Budget implementation is accurate and complete.
3. Budget Monitoring and Analysis
Duties :
Monitor budget performance continuously, identifying and investigating significant variances.
Conduct regular reviews and analyses of financial data to assess budget effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
Provide financial reports and updates to management, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop corrective actions or mitigation strategies for budget shortfalls or overages.

Financial reports are accurate and clearly presented.
4. Financial Forecasting
Duties :
Develop financial forecasts and projections using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario planning to evaluate potential impacts on budget outcomes.
Identify risks and opportunities, recommending strategies to optimize financial performance.
Communicate forecasts and projections to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

Financial forecasts are accurate and informative.
Job Specifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a leadership role.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, NetSuite, SAP / ERP systems, POS systems, and financial management software.
Excellent knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
Strong business finance acumen and experience in developing financial reports and metrics.
Proven leadership and cross-functional team management experience.
Project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
Familiarity with various industries and operational processes.
Fluent in English and Filipino.
