1. Prepare truck for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to roadability standards.
2. Load truck by ordering, placing, and securing items. Make sure that the items are presentable from delivery truck to customer.
3. Check completeness and accuracy of orders. Use delivery van report issued by the Warehouse Supervisor.
◦ Check the completeness of all issued receipts and invoices according to your delivery schedule.
◦ Check issued document checklist every receipt and invoice for proper distribution.
◦ Check authorized validation of all issued gate pass.
5. Deliver items by identifying destinations; establishing simplest and fastest route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining the schedule of deliveries according to the delivery schedule instructed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
6. Secure delivery records by obtaining delivery receipts, sales invoices, signed trip ticket for customer and ensure that the trip ticket is properly filled-up. Report to concerned Warehouse Supervisor if any problems encountered during the delivery.
7. Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior.
8. Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments; recording tracking information; completing driver log and truck performance forms.
9. Maintain and cleans the truck. Report to Warehouse Supervisor if there are some problems encountered or malfunctioning in the truck.
10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.
