Carpenter

Job Summary :

A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing wooden structures, furniture, fixtures, and other wood-based items. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and other materials according to specifications.

Install furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans.

Inspect and repair damaged wooden structures and furniture.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.

Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and client standards.

Estimate materials and time required for projects.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Qualifications :

At least High School Graduate or equivalent.

Proven work experience as a carpenter or in a related field.

Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and construction methods.

Skilled in using woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and time management skills.

Willing to work extended hours and in various job sites, if needed.
