Head - Executive Search (APAC) at Corporate Executive Search, Inc.
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and long-term sustainability in line with the company’s agricultural operations and growth objectives. This executive will play a key strategic role in guiding financial planning, investment, risk management, and capital allocation, while aligning financial strategies with the seasonal, market, and regulatory realities of the agricultural industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s short- and long-term goals in agricultural production, processing, and distribution.
- Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance, market conditions, and strategic investment opportunities.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, accounting for seasonal cycles, commodity prices, and agricultural market trends.
- Oversee all accounting, treasury, taxation, and audit functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Implement financial controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.
- Manage working capital efficiently, particularly inventory, receivables, and cash flow cycles impacted by agricultural seasonality.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks specific to agriculture, including commodity price volatility, weather impacts, and supply chain disruptions.
- Oversee insurance programs, hedging strategies, and risk mitigation tools.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, sustainability, and agricultural financing regulations.
4. Funding & Investor Relations
Manage relationships with banks, investors, cooperatives, and government funding agencies.Secure financing for expansion projects, equipment, and seasonal operations through loans, grants, or capital investments.Communicate financial results and growth strategies to stakeholders and investors.5. Operational Support & Efficiency
Collaborate with operations teams to optimize cost structures in farming, production, and logistics.Use financial analytics to drive operational efficiency and resource allocation.Implement and oversee ERP or agri-fintech systems to streamline financial processes.6. Sustainability & ESG
Support sustainability and environmental initiatives through financial modeling and impact assessment.Track and report on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics relevant to agricultural production and supply chains.WILLING TO BE ASSIGNED IN DAVAO
