We are on the hunt for a Retention Marketing Manager who is not only strategic but also data-savvy and detail-focused to spearhead our retention initiatives. This position is all about cultivating customer loyalty, boosting lifetime value (LTV), and encouraging repeat purchases through creative email, SMS, and loyalty strategies.
- Develop and manage retention programs, including email and SMS campaigns, automations, and loyalty initiatives.
- Plan campaign calendars, design automation flows, and create customer segments to drive growth and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
- Build and optimize automated workflows, drip campaigns, and personalization strategies.
- Run A / B and multivariate tests to improve engagement and key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Experiment with strategies to increase email and SMS opt-ins.
- Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use customer segmentation and lifecycle data to create targeted, data-driven campaigns.
- Work with tools like Klaviyo (Email), Wunderkind (SMS / Email), and Yotpo to track and manage retention efforts.
- Manage and enhance loyalty programs to deepen customer relationships.
- Develop new strategies to boost engagement and encourage repeat purchases.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or loyalty marketing, ideally in DTC ecommerce.Hands-on expertise with Klaviyo (required); experience with Yotpo or Wunderkind is a plus.Strong ability to make data-driven decisions using customer insights.Familiar with customer segmentation, RFM analysis, and lifecycle metrics.Proven track record of implementing and optimizing retention strategies with measurable results.Skilled at managing complex workflows and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.A “no task is too small” mindset and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.Experienced with email / SMS platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and loyalty tools (e.g., Yotpo).Bonus : Familiarity with A / B testing, data visualization tools, and customer data platforms (CDPs).Benefits
