Job Description
The Avaloq Security team is an international group of analysts, senior and expert software engineers and architects.
Key Tasks
- Analyze, design, and develop requirements in collaboration with Product Development, customers, business analysts, and software partners.
- Design, build, and maintain internal CI / CD pipelines and automated tools to support vulnerability management, security reporting, and efficient development workflows.
- Contribute to cross‑functional projects across departments.
- Manage the daily automated build process, analyze security alerts, and provide guidance or fixes as needed.
- Track third‑party library enrollment, updates, and removal using in‑house tools and Mend (or similar solutions).
- Evalue and confirm detected vulnerabilities, gauge exploitability, provide expert analysis on false positives, and devise potential fixes.
- Maintain configuration control and guarantee accuracy of release baselines.
- Coordinate security‑related actions across multiple teams to ensure product quality and security.
- Generate and disseminate documentation and reports on risk, findings, and remediation progress.
- Execute periodic reviews to confirm compliance with internal security policies, guidelines, and best practices.
- Engage in internal technical discussions, sharing knowledge on security implementations, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
University degree in IT, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.3‑5 years of relevant professional experience.Deep experience designing, deploying, and maintaining CI / CD pipelines and automation tooling.Senior‑level engineering know‑how with hands‑on skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, Gradle, Jenkins (or other CI / CD tools).Understanding of containerized apps and proficiency in Kubernetes and / or OpenShift (or alike platforms).In‑depth grasp of security concepts, industry standards, and best practices.Hands‑on experience with vulnerability‑management tools and automated security scanning solutions.Strong technical communication abilities to convey complex details to non‑technical stakeholders.Exposure to financial markets and familiarity with financial products is a bonus.Strong analytical skillset, meticulousness, and dedication to deliver top‑quality work.Positive, collaborative mindset capable of championing best‑practices across the organization.Benefits
