About the job QA Manager _Makati_Up to 170K
We are hiring a QA Manager for a client based in Makati.
Shift is 9 AM to 6 PM, Mon to Fri
Salary is up to 170K based on experience
This is a managerial role that requires 3 years of experience in the banking industry.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field is preferred
- At least 7 years of experience working or driving test automation initiatives using Selenium / Robot Framework or any other automation tool is required
- At least 8 years of work experience on executing different tests like regression, performance, and functional testing is required
- Strong capacity to identify process gaps and requirement loopholes is preferred.
- Strong knowledge in AWS and GCP Services is required
- Strong knowledge in SQL, PL / SQL or any other databases preferred
- Strong knowledge in CICD, Software Development Life Cycle, Microservices is required
- Strong knowledge on writing FSDs and RTMs preferred
- Working knowledge in agile scrum methodology is required
- Test analyst certifications (especially CTFL) is a bug plus
- Natural problem solver, leader and critical thinker
- Detail oriented and highly adaptive
- Good communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION :
The QA Manager is a well versed, and is an industry proven leader, who will help the company by leading the business and its clients on researching and reviewing IT product and process advancements, and on incorporating best practices on writing test scenarios and requirements traceability matrix, to ensure that there are no system gaps and that all requirements will drive improvements on different aspects of the business. The QA Manager will drive the growth of the Quality Engineering unit, and will help us achieve our objectives by continuously improving our quality engineering processes. He / She will lead and mentor all resources within the Quality Engineering Unit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Drive the development and monitoring of the products quality strategyIncorporate best practices on identifying future quality problemsEnsure complete documentation of FSDs, BRDs and RTMsEnsure even workload within the verticalIncorporate best practices when doing regression, functional, and performance testsDrive BQA process improvements and automation initiativesProvide feedback to improve a certain process or weaknessDevelop the BQA roadmap and mentor all resources within the vertical
