The Role

You will manage the full lifecycle analysis of requirements, activities, design, and reporting capabilities, and monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. An ideal candidate needs to have a strong foundation in big data technology and a passion to learn new technologies.

As part of the Data Capability, you will be able to demonstrate, develop and extend your skills in Data, AI, Cloud, and system integration. You will be working in a modern environment and find yourself surrounded by a multi-disciplinary peer group of data enthusiasts with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Your Team

We are a team of young and eager adventurers. You will be reporting to a Delivery Manager and enjoy the collaboration of team members within the project and capability. You will also get the opportunity to work with external stakeholders in the successful completion of project objectives.

You will work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft and Outsystems.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance
• Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary
• Understand and develop ANSI SQL queries
• Handle tools for data transformation and/or ETL through tool-based and code-based development – ex. Informatica or Talend for tool based / Spark or MapReduce framework in Python or Scala/Java for code-based development
• Design and maintain data systems and databases; this includes the fixing of coding errors and other data-related problems

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT/Computing/Business or equivalent
• Expert level in SQL
• At least 2 to 6 years in any of Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Quicksight, Looker, QuickBI
• At least 2 years of experience in Hadoop and Big Data Ecosystem
• Experience in any of the following languages - Python, Polar, R
• Experience in any cloud environment (GCP/AWS/Azure/Alibaba/etc)

Nice to Have

• Experience in Talend, Informatica, Ab Initio, and other ETL GUI based tools
• Devops, Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker containers
