Job Overview                We are looking for a highly organized and personable Virtual Assistant / Executive Assistant to specialize in managing restaurant reservations and providing exceptional customer service. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and delightful reservation experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.   Key Responsibilities : Reservation Management : Handle customer inquiries and manage restaurant reservations through phone calls, emails, and online platforms. Confirm, modify, or cancel reservations as requested by customers. Maintain an up-to-date reservations system and optimize table assignments to ensure smooth operations. Customer Service Excellence : Provide a friendly, professional, and accommodating experience for all customers. Address customer questions about the menu, hours, location, and any special accommodations. Resolve complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer Communication : Send personalized thank-you emails to customers following their visits. Respond to all incoming customer emails promptly and professionally. Support for Executive Needs : Assist the executive with tasks such as drafting emails, preparing reports, and managing schedules. Take ownership of assigned administrative tasks to support daily operations. Knowledge of Restaurant Operations : Familiarize yourself with the restaurant’s history, menu offerings, and unique selling points to answer customer inquiries confidently. Communicate effectively with restaurant staff to ensure accurate reservation details and customer preferences are conveyed.   Qualifications : Communication Skills : Exceptional spoken and written English with minimal to no accent. Customer Service Experience : At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant, reservations, or hospitality role. Tech Proficiency : Comfortable using reservation management systems, email platforms, and other administrative tools. Organizational Skills : Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and excellent time management. Personality Traits : Friendly, accommodating, and proactive, with a problem-solving mindset.   Requirements : Reliable internet connection and remote work setup. Availability to work restaurant hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as needed.   Preferred Qualifications : Experience with online reservation platforms like OpenTable, Resy, or similar. Familiarity with the restaurant or hospitality industry.
