The Media Specialist will provide valuable support to the Communications team, primarily in developing and implementing effective communication strategies for their ministries. This role involves hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and campaign support.

Responsibilities

• Generate a variety of high-quality content, and exceptional projects.
• Create compelling multimedia or written content relevant to assigned projects.
• Collaborate with the OMS Philippines communication team members, showcasing adaptability and creativity across various media tasks.

Skills

• Both written and verbal communication skills are crucial in media. Must be able to articulate ideas clearly, write compelling content, and effectively collaborate with team members.
• Familiarity with various digital media platforms, social media management, basic graphic design skills, and knowledge of multimedia tools like Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new technologies, trends, and industry changes.
• Possess the ability to think outside the box, generate new ideas, and approach problems creatively.
• Ability to be a team player and to work well and collaborate effectively with others, as well as being open to feedback from supervisors/team members.

Other Information

• There is availability for 8–10-week internships. However, we can accommodate longer internships if needed. Let us know your preferred internship duration, and we can discuss options.
• This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners.

During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with youth and young adults, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, potentially work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship and communicating your testimony.
