An Oracle Fusion SCM (Supply Chain Management) Functional Consultant is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management solutions to meet the business needs of an organization. The consultant typically works in collaboration with other IT professionals and business stakeholders to implement and optimize Oracle Fusion SCM functionalities.
Responsibilities
- Implementation and Support : Implement Oracle Fusion SCM modules such as inventory management, order management, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing. Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting, liaise with Oracle for technical support as needed.
- Business Analysis : Analyze business processes and requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements. Understand and translate business needs into system configurations.
- Project Management : Manage project timelines, resources, and risks. Monitor the project’s progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Testing : Conduct system testing to ensure the solution meets the business needs, including creating test scenarios and scripts, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), and addressing any issues that arise.a
- Configuration and Customization : Configure Oracle Fusion SCM modules to meet business requirements. In collaboration with technical team members, develop any necessary customizations, including reports, interfaces, and extensions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or a related field and Oracle Fusions experience in at least one module.You also need experience upgrading and implementing software systems, testing, and providing support.Some employers require you to be Fusion HCM certified and have working knowledge in BPEL Process Orchestration, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, ESB, and more.You should know how to develop and deploy BPEL processes, and how to develop and customize Oracle AIA artifacts, XSLT, and XPath functions.It is vital that you also know how to implement SOA involving Web Services using SOAP, WSDL, and XML technologies and Oracle JDeveloper.It is critical to have analytical problem-solving skills as well.#J-18808-Ljbffr
