Match Statistics Analyst

Responsibilities

• The core responsibilities of this role entail observing community-level football matches and accurately entering individual player statistics using our dedicated software. Our team members undergo specialized training, a combination of in-person and remote, to enhance their comprehension of the sport and enhance their practical abilities in tasks like data collection and analysis.
• Primary duties may encompass:Precisely recording data from football games. Cooperating with supervisors to identify exceptional performers for acknowledgment. Analyze and interpret sports data to derive meaningful insights. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sports analytics.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a related degree such as Sport Science, Sport Management, etc. - STRONGLY PREFERRED.
• Previous work experience in a similar field is preferred, with a focus on Sports Data Analysis .
• Candidates must demonstrate a strong passion for sports.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand the rules of any new sport.
• Freshers with an interest in sports are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication skills
• A strong level of sports knowledge, rules and gameplay (in particular AFL)
• Willingness to learn all statistics and interpretations of all involved statistics
• Proactive attitude and taking initiative in appropriate situations
• Applicants MUST be available during weekends, including Saturday nights and Sundays.
• Amenable to work onsite at BGC, Taguig City.
