The Senior Accountan t role will offer a great mix of hands-on accounting work and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong technical accounting background, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have QuickBooks Online experience and advanced Excel experience
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounting routine : o Process Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely payments o Customer Invoicing and AR management
o Daily bank reconciliation and cash reporting
o Bi-monthly Payroll processing (ADP) o Excel reporting
General Ledger : Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurately reported. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesMonth-End Close : Prepare the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial dataFinancial Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsCompliance & Audit Support : Ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations and support audit preparationsTax Preparation & Reporting : Support the preparation of tax returns and filings for corporate taxes, sales taxes, and other relevant taxesFinancial Analysis : Provide insights into financial performance through detailed analysis of variances, trends, and forecastsCross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment between financial goals and business operations.Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).Experience : o Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or financeQuickBooks Online experienceAdvanced Excel experienceStrong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and accounting regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA high level of attention to detailAbility to solve accounting issues and offer actionable insightsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
