Job descriptionCollecting and picking up goods and materials from the store going to the warehouse. Ability to familiarize and memorize all the stores that we are supplying products. Ability to know and familiarize all the locations that are passed. Flexible and detail-oriented. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. Delivering and checking off (if required) goods at customers’ premises. Perform daily inspections on all assigned vehicles, at the beginning of each shift. Completing trucking sheets and run sheets with all relevant information. Collecting goods according to instructions and completing associated paperwork. Carrying out a routine daily inspection sheet prior to setting off and reporting any defects that occur during the course of the working day. Abiding by current driver’s hours, rules and regulations including working time directives. Ensuring legal breaks are taken and tachographs are completed correctly. Available to work required shifts and overtime during the week and on the day as required. Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
