Job Description

Security Architecture & Strategy

• Craft and maintain the bank's security architecture to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to defend against cyber threats and data breaches.

Proactive Risk Management

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities across systems and infrastructure.
• Continuously evaluate security technologies to strengthen the bank's defense posture.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Establish governance processes to monitor and maintain security controls and compliance.

Incident Response & Monitoring

• Develop incident response plans to address potential security breaches effectively.
• Deploy advanced monitoring tools to detect and mitigate suspicious activities in real time.

Collaboration & Awareness

• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security into every facet of the bank's operations.
• Lead security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices and emerging threats.

Vendor & Technology Oversight

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure outsourced systems meet stringent security requirements.
• Stay ahead of emerging security trends, continuously enhancing the bank's security measures.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven Expertise : 10+ years in IT, architecture, or security roles, with a strong foundation in application security and modern application architecture.
• Industry Insight : Experience in banking, credit cards, investments, loans, remittance, or trade is highly preferred.
• Knowledge Base : Familiarity with key compliance standards (GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001) and a track record of implementing security frameworks.
• Leadership & Communication : A strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and guide teams while effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
