Responsible for safe navigation and operation of the vessel

Overseeing deck crew , maintaining safety equipment, assisting with cargo and mooring operations and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations. Performing navigational watch. Maintaining ship logs, conducting safety drills and acting as the ship security officer on some vessels.
