WHAT IS AN OUTBOUND ORDER ENTRY ASSISTANT
Our awesome client, a leading company based in Australia is looking for an Outbound Order Entry Assistant to be part of their customer service team.
Operating remotely, the role is responsible for supporting the Inventory and Logistics Manager with sales data entry and ensuring daily deadlines, as required by warehouse and transport partners, are met.
The required working hours are 8 : 30 / 9am to 4 : 30 / 5pm Sunday through to Thursday, with a large proportion of the work required to be completed in the morning prior to warehouse cut-offs.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Upload of orders to warehouse and transporters' systems
Tracking orders in transit
Communicating with the Inventory and Logistics Manager to resolve any issues as they arise
Ongoing maintenance of inventory system and customer files
Liaising with the sales team in Sydney and Melbourne regarding sales orders
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Attention to detail
Proven data entry accuracy
Ability to work to daily deadlines as required by warehouse and transport partners
Proficient English language skills
Strong communication skills to liaise with the internal team, warehouse / transport partners and customers
Familiarity with wine language, in particular English, French and Spanish.
No requirement to speak European languages beyond the words used in the portfolio and software systems
Practical problem solving skills
