We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled P aralegal with a strong background in research and data analysis. The successful candidate will be adept at analyzing and abstracting various digital documents, utilizing advanced Excel skills and proprietary software for data management, and performing in-depth research using government websites. This role demands strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities :
Analyze and abstract a variety of digital documents stored in mediums such as Dropbox, SharePoint, or various websites.Enter and manage data from researched documents in Excel or our proprietary software.Utilize government websites like county clerk offices and regulatory commission websites for research, such as the Corporation Commission in Oklahoma and the Railroad Commission in Texas.Participate in regular project team meetings via Zoom to discuss progress and address any issues.Review documents, including oil and gas leases, and summarize actionable items.Trace the history of document ownership, ensuring clarity and correctness.Perform interest calculations as part of research tasks, with some support from automated Excel spreadsheets.Review additional documents such as revenue statements and check stubs for due diligence.Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal.Demonstrated experience in data analysis and abstraction.Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Concatenate, Pivot Tables, V / X Look-up, etc.)Familiarity with SharePoint, Dropbox, or similar platforms.Excellent research skills, particularly in the use of government websites for information gathering.Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.Ability to independently initiate and participate in the daily huddle.Comfortable with technology, capable of learning to use new software quickly.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain high-quality work.Nice to have’s
Expertise in oil and gas leases, deeds, mortgages, and related documents.Experience with QLS.Understanding of lease acreage and depth Pugh clauses.Knowledge of leasehold JOAs versus well JOAs. (Joint Operating Agreement)Ability to interpret and calculate Working Interest (WI) and Net Revenue Interest (NRI) in leases and wells.
