About the Role
As a Governance Analyst in our Performance & Governance team, you’ll play a key role in helping to support the assurance, compliance and operational risk framework, associated reporting and analysis, and stakeholder engagement within the Digital Employee Experience team.
The role will also support the Digital Employee Experience function embed a strong risk culture, drive behaviours to get to the root cause of risk events and feed insights into appropriate business process owners (where appropriate), monitor and drive action from risk events / audit, and identify trends in the risk profile for focus by leaders across team.

What will your day look like?
As a Governance Analyst , you will :
- Supporting the management of risk events across the Digital Employee Experience team as required by ANZ’s NFR framework.\
- Working with Product Owners and Team Leads to understand root cause of risk issues and ensure appropriate solutions are considered to address or fed into wider business initiative’s / projects / backlogs.
- Supporting the team understand, implement and adhere to the ANZ risk and compliance framework effectively by providing insights that helps embed sustainable and well managed risk practices.
- Building strong, open and transparent relationships / engagement with all key stakeholders including Product owners and Team leaders, and BG&C Risk managers within T&C.
- Acting as key point of contact for compliance and operational risk issues raised by Digital Employee Experience Product Owners and Team Leaders.
- Promoting a strong risk and compliance culture within Digital Employee Experience
- Performing end to end event management which includes walk through, root cause and remediation and ensuring timely and appropriate closure.
- Performing Risk analysis on Digital Employee Experience events and issues to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Providing regular reporting and insights to the Digital Employee Experience leadership team to enable proactive management and governance of the risk profile.
