Job descriptionQualifications Associate degree or bachelors degree in Information Technology or any other courses. With 3 to 5 years experience in Oracle Databases or other relevant role. Familiarity in database concept, architecture design, development, and other operations have the advantage. With certifications in Oracle has the advantage but not required. With strong database management (security & policies, procedures, implementation, and operations) Must be amenable or willing to work in Sucat, Parañaque. Must be willing in 24x7 rotation or shifting schedule when operations needed. Job Summary Monitor and optimize performance of the database, plan for backup and recovery of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs.
Create database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments.
- Responsibilities
- Help design, configure, implement and maintain company database (oracle).
- Monitoring system and database performance and identifying problem that might encounter.
- Configure and resolve all technical and performance issues.
- Closely monitor all managed databases and protect against all possible threats and unauthorized access.
- Maintain and managed back-ups files / information and recovery procedures.
- Suggesting changes and / or improvement on the current database for maintenance and protection.
- Collaborating frequently with database programmers and IT project managers.
- Generate reports, and other documentation needed.
- Perform other task assigned by immediate supervisor.
