Outsource Access is on the lookout for a meticulous and seasoned Medical Billing Specialist to take charge of our healthcare billing and coding operations. The role is crucial to ensuring accurate and timely insurance claim submissions, interacting with insurance companies for claim follow-ups, handling denials, resubmissions, and obtaining prior authorizations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical billing practices and insurance regulations and be committed to financial transaction accuracy. You will play an essential role in supporting our clients’ billing requirements and contributing to a smooth billing process.

Responsibilities :

• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, denials, resubmissions, and prior authorizations.
• Process and submit claims electronically and via paper, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Manage credit card charging processes efficiently.
• Handle Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) accurately and diligently.
• Maintain accurate records and provide detailed billing reports as required.
• Perform Deputy Audits (Residential & CC. CE) and Therap Audits, ensuring documentation and note-taking are aligned.
• Review billing against resident attendance.
• Handle billing for PAMCO (PCVA & PCNC) and process financial transactions via QuickBooks.
• Generate ad hoc reports and a consolidated monthly financial report.
